Bring On The Twinkies!

The Royals Looked amazing in their last series, yes they had some bumps in the second game, but who's perfect? Paulino and Mazzaro both pitched shut-out baseball and the team looked like they had fun, as the Royals won the series 2 games to 1. The Royals open up a 3 game stretch against division rival Minnesota tonight. The Royals and Twins are Even this season as they both have a win and a loss vs each other this season. So lets get to the series.

Tonight @ 7:10pm the Royals Will Smith will play host to the Twins Cole De Vries. Smith is 1-1 on the Season with an ERA of 6.75, as for Vries, He is 0-1 with an ERA of 2.70. Vries looks for his first win of 2012 and Smith looks to keep on rollin, as he recorded his first win of the season in his last outing against Cleveland. Look for a good match-up between these two youngsters, as they Duel it out on the Mound.

Tomorrow June 5, 2012 at 7:10pm Bruce Chen Plays host to Francisco Liriano. Chen is 4-5 with a 4.86 ERA this season and is comes off his 4th victory of the season, as Liriano is 1-5 with an ERA of 7.20 as he enters this game off his first win of the season. look for a very close game here, as neither of these pitchers has been ver dominate this season.

Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 7:10pm Felipe Paulino will play host to the Indians, Pitcher to be announced. Paulino comes into this game at 3-1 on the Season with an ERA of 1.70. Paulino has been very dominate this season as he has shut out his opponents 4 out of 6 appearances this season, and has pitched 94-113 pitches in each start since May 5th. look for a good match-up here aswell. With Paulino on the mound for the Royals, you don't know what will happen, but it may result in a win.

Each team is coming into this game with a win in their previous outing. The Royals look to keep on rolling at home after a 4-12 start. They are now 7-18 and look to make it 10-18 by the end of this series. I wish I could have them winning 3 games to none, but I know the Royals arnt that consistent as a team especially at home. I say the Royals win the Series 2-1 and make it 9-19 at home this season. Go Royals!
